Welcome to our home – your retreat in the mountains
Our house is situated in a quiet hillside location at 1,100 m above sea level, directly on the hiking trail between Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. Here you can enjoy fresh mountain air and breathtaking views over the Gastein Valley as well as the impressive mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern.

Summer – A natural paradise for hikers & cyclists
Our house is the ideal starting point for hikes, Nordic walking and mountain bike tours. The Gastein Valley offers an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails that lead to rustic alpine huts and shelters serving regional specialities.
A leisurely walking path leads along the Erzherzog-Johann-Promenade to Mozartplatz, where you will find a bus stop and the Flying Fox facility. From there, you can reach the historic centre of Bad Gastein as well as the famous Bad Gastein waterfall and the old power plant – an impressive industrial monument.
In the surrounding area, you will also find:

Important information about arrival
Our access road branches off already in Bad Hofgastein. If you are using a sat nav, please enter “Abzweigung Angerweg 1” via Vorderschneeberg – Hinterschneeberg. The route via Schneebergweg is not correct!

Arrival
Our access road branches off already in Bad Hofgastein – approx. 250 m after the second roundabout (Bad Hofgastein South), after the car dealership and Rudigier Reisen and before the large apartment buildings – turning right off the main road. (In your navigation system, you can enter Angerweg 1, Bad Hofgastein – from there the navigation will no longer be accurate.)
Continue along Angerweg on the left – over a small bridge – then turn right uphill, passing the sawmill, passing Durzbauer, through the railway viaduct. At the fork, do not drive up to the Hartlgut snack station but continue straight on along Streibergweg (towards Haus-Chalet Schneeberg). Do not turn off until you reach Streitberghof; next to it lies HAUS TALBLICK. The distance from the main road is approx. 4 km.
The navigation system may suggest the Schneebergweg in Bad Gastein – please do not take this route, as it leads to a dead end.
Our access road is a mountain road that is properly cleared and gritted. However, for heavier fresh snowfall, we recommend carrying snow chains as a precaution, although winter tyres are usually sufficient.
