Our house is situated in a quiet hillside location at 1,100 m above sea level, directly on the hiking trail between Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein. Here you can enjoy fresh mountain air and breathtaking views over the Gastein Valley as well as the impressive mountain scenery of the Hohe Tauern.

Summer – A natural paradise for hikers & cyclists

Our house is the ideal starting point for hikes, Nordic walking and mountain bike tours. The Gastein Valley offers an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails that lead to rustic alpine huts and shelters serving regional specialities.

A leisurely walking path leads along the Erzherzog-Johann-Promenade to Mozartplatz, where you will find a bus stop and the Flying Fox facility. From there, you can reach the historic centre of Bad Gastein as well as the famous Bad Gastein waterfall and the old power plant – an impressive industrial monument.

In the surrounding area, you will also find:

Our access road branches off already in Bad Hofgastein. If you are using a sat nav, please enter “Abzweigung Angerweg 1” via Vorderschneeberg – Hinterschneeberg. The route via Schneebergweg is not correct!
